About the role
As the Crane Technician
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of cranes
- Diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical faults – in the workshop and onsite
- Minimise downtime through efficient troubleshooting, especially of electronic systems and onboard diagnostics
- Maintain Electrical Systems.
- Mechanical Repairs and Servicing.
- Promote health and safety at all times.
Qualifications and experience
Required:
- Demonstrated experience in Crane Industry.
- Relevant tickets / Licence e.g. White Card.
- Relevant trade qualifications (Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- A positive, team-oriented approach
Preferred:
- High Risk Work License – Open Crane
- Current Driver’s License – Heavy Rigid or above
- Experience in Crane Computer Systems
- Crane Manufacture Training
- Auto Electrical Qualification
The successful candidates will also be subject to the following additional requirements as part of the role:
- The ability to pass pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Testing
- Police Check and other Visa requirements
