Dogmen/Riggers & Crane Operators

About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Dogmen/Riggers and Crane Operators for a specific project in Brisbane. The project is expected to run for approximately six weeks, commencing in late July and continuing through to mid-September.

Required Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in the mobile crane hire industry
• No site restrictions (must be able to access all client and industrial sites).

Minimum of 3 years’ demonstrated experience operating a range of mobile cranes, including:

• Pick and carry cranes
• City cranes
• All Terrain Cranes (including lattice fly configurations

Relevant licences and tickets, including some or all of the following:

• Dogman Licence (DG)
• Basic Rigging Ticket (RB)
• Crane Licence (CN, C6, CO)
• Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s Licence
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
• Forklift Licence
• Working at Heights Ticket

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of site standards and procedures within major hazard facilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and prioritise effectively.
• Availability to work irregular hours, including early starts, late finishes, night shifts, and weekends.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Professional presentation and strong communication skills when interacting with customers.
• Maturity and the ability to work with multi-site and multicultural teams.
• Previous shutdown experience.
• Intermediate Rigging Ticket.
• Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) Driver’s Licence.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to:

• Pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
• Pass Drug and Alcohol testing.
• Successfully complete a Police Check.
