Dogmen/Riggers & Crane Operators
About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Dogmen/Riggers and Crane Operators for a specific project in Brisbane. The project is expected to run for approximately six weeks, commencing in late July and continuing through to mid-September.
Required Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in the mobile crane hire industry
- No site restrictions (must be able to access all client and industrial sites).
Minimum of 3 years’ demonstrated experience operating a range of mobile cranes, including:
- Pick and carry cranes
- City cranes
- All Terrain Cranes (including lattice fly configurations
Relevant licences and tickets, including some or all of the following:
- Dogman Licence (DG)
- Basic Rigging Ticket (RB)
- Crane Licence (CN, C6, CO)
- Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s Licence
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
- Forklift Licence
- Working at Heights Ticket
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of site standards and procedures within major hazard facilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and prioritise effectively.
- Availability to work irregular hours, including early starts, late finishes, night shifts, and weekends.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Professional presentation and strong communication skills when interacting with customers.
- Maturity and the ability to work with multi-site and multicultural teams.
- Previous shutdown experience.
- Intermediate Rigging Ticket.
- Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) Driver’s Licence.
Pre-Employment Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to:
- Pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
- Pass Drug and Alcohol testing.
- Successfully complete a Police Check.
